Songarh: The
inspiration
'Mangalayatan' project gets its inspiration from Songarh, the respected Jain tirth dham which has attained a highly respectable status due to its association with Param Pujya Gurudevshri Kanji Swami. Gurudevshri lived here for 46 years from Vikram Samvat 1991 to 2037 (A.D. 1933 to 1980). During this period, the revered Gurudevshri delivered his discourses here, in the presence of hundreds of devotees. The main disciple of Gurudevshri, Bahenshri Champaben, too has been associated with Songarh. Thousands of disciples come to Songarh to learn the right Moksha-marg.
The Swadhyaya Mandir Complex, at Songarh has many temples including Shri Seemandharswami temple, Shri Seemandharswami Samavassaran, Shri Seemandharswami Manstambh, Shri Mahavir Kundkund Digambar Jain Paramagam temple, Shri Digambar Jain Swadhyay Mandir, Shri Nandishwar Jain Temple, Shri Kundkund Kahan Saraswati Bhavan etc.

Pancham-kaal into Chautha-kaal.' He also says that Gurudevshri will be remembered as a Tirthankar by the generations to come. 'Mangalayatan' is a long cherished dream for him. Let's hope that his dream will come true in the very near future.
