A community residential colony named Kahan Nagar is also being built in the vicinity of Mangalayatan to benefit people who want to settle in this holy area. The colony would have limited number of houses/flats providing all facilities for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Flats would also be built for Jain scholars who want to settle in this area or to temporarily stay here. The project is being developed on a No-profit-no-loss basis.
Shri Adinath Kund-kund Kahan Digamber Jain Trust is also planning to launch a Jain Cooperative Bank for the benefit of the community. Though establishment of private banks is now allowed in the country but no one has taken initiative to launch a Jain Banks in this part of the country. According to the initial planning, the bank would have 18 directors and at least 2000 members.
Apart from normal banking operations, the proposed bank might also provide loans for construction of houses and flats in the proposed Jain colony around Mangalayatan. It would also provide education loans to Jain students for further education, in India as well as abroad. If everything goes according to the plans, the bank should be operational by the time the second phase development work of the Mangalayatan complex is complete.
